Does The Woods have High Speed Internet?

High Speed WiFi is available in the following accommodations: Evergreen Lodges, Meadow Cottages & Pinecrest Cabins.

Is The Woods Pet Friendly?

Yes.  The Woods has a limited number of accommodations available where pets may stay with their owners (dogs only). There is a non-refundable fee for, up to, a 3 night stay, 2 pet maximum. The fee is $25 for the first dog and $10 for a second dog.  Rooms with pets will not be visited by housekeeping during the guest's stay. Additional towels will be available at the front desk. Pets must be leashed at all times while outside. They may not be tied up and must be curbed. The Woods reserves the right to cancel reservations for guests whose pets bark excessively or otherwise become a nuisance.

Do I need to bring linens?

Linens and towels are provided in our Evergreen Lodge Rooms, Meadow Cottages & Pinecrest Cottages. Linen packages are available for private home rentals or you may bring your own.  You may wish to bring beach towels for use at the pools & Sports Center.

Should I make advance reservations for a spa treatment?

What is the dress code for the golf course?

Resort casual is the norm in most areas. Swimsuits are not permitted on the golf courses. Men must wear collared shirts on the golf courses. Jeans/denim, tank tops, cut offs and short shorts are not permitted on the golf courses. The Woods is a non-metal spike facility.

Do I need to get a fishing license?

The Woods' ponds are stocked with Bluegills, Bass and Catfish. You do not need a license to fish on property (it is a catch and release policy). However, you will need a license to fish anywhere off the property. Our staff can assist you with locating a local retail location for obtaining fishing licenses.

Is a Deposit required?

Yes, a deposit equivalent to one night's stay is due at time of reservation.

Do your accommodations have DVD players?

The Front Desk has DVD players that can be used in the different types of accommodations upon request.

Do you have a gift shop?

A large selection of clothing and Woods merchandise is available at the pro shop and the Sleepy Creek Spa.

How early can I make tee times?

The general public may secure tee times up to 7 days in advance by calling the Pro Shop directly at 304-754-7222.

I'm staying in a Meadow Cottage is there a grill?

Yes, the Meadow Cottages have a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal & lighter fluid).
